Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

Our third grade class participated in a “dress up the turkey project.” The students disguised their turkey as something else and wrote a letter to Farmer Brown explaining why they couldn’t be part of Thanksgiving dinner this year. They each presented their turkeys and letters to the rest of their class. Some of the turkeys were dressed as football players, Santa Claus, reindeer, brides, rock stars, pirates, and basketball players. The students enjoyed this project and year after year it is exciting to see what new turkeys the students create.
